Smartforce

Smart Force Technologies develops and commercializes equipment for research purpose in the field of micro and nanotechnologies. We will present the world’s first equipment to control the deposition of colloidal nano/microparticles on surfaces. This unique equipment allows the precise placement of individual particles at the nanoscale and their organization in 1D to 3D structures. Our versatile technology makes possible the fabrication of unique micro/nanoparticle based structures and their integration on new devices in many different fields such as microelectronics, photonics, biotechnologies and much more.

logo cordouan

Based in Pessac FRANCE (33), Cordouan Technologies is a startup company specialized in the design, fabrication and industrialization of innovative instruments for physico-chemical characterization (size, charge, shape) of nanoparticles and nanomaterials for academic research and industrial application (process monitoring, quality control, R&D). Thus thanks to its skills and know-how in optoelectronic technologies, optics, light scattering, software and user-interface, Cordouan proposes to its customers measurement solutions for granulometry, refractometry, zetametry, electronic microscopy and preparation accessories. Our unique product portfolio is issued from patented and innovative technologies transferred from prestigious research institutes: French Institute of Petroleum (IFP EN), Karlsruhe Institute of Technologies (KIT), Institute Charles Sadron (ICS). Those key partners allow us outsourcing our R&D while benefiting from their expertise and financial support all along the projects. Present in more than 30 countries around the world, our instruments equip some of the most prestigious industrial and research laboratories (Total, Rhodia, L'Oreal, ENS Paris and Lyon, CRPP, ENSPCI, STMicro-electronic, INRS, Dow Chemical, ARABLAB, Université of Waterloo, etc.) working on advanced applications such as: synthesis of polymers and nanoparticles, crude oil extraction and refining, quality control of cosmetic gels, development of special inks in colloidal form, nanoparticle vectorization for medicine, etc.

Malvern Instruments provide the materials and biophysical characterization technology and expertise that enable scientists and engineers to understand and control the properties of dispersed systems. They are used by both industry and academia, in sectors ranging from pharmaceuticals and biopharmaceuticals to bulk chemicals, cement, plastics and polymers, energy and the environment.

SemiLog

We design, produce and sell metrology equipment for the characterization of semiconductor and photovoltaic materials, for monitoring the manufacturing process of semiconductor devices and solar cells, and also for R&D purposes in these areas. We offer a variety of measurement techniques; most of them are non-contact and non-destructive. Many of our technologies can be flexibly integrated in different platforms, ranging from simple handheld devices and table-top systems with high resolution mapping capability to fully automated stand-alone production control tools for mid-range and high-level fablines. We also offer in-line measurements for solar cell production lines.

Our strategy is to continuously improve our products, and to offer flexible solutions for our customers’ needs with high-value products for a reasonable price. To accomplish this, we employ more than 70 physicists and 90 engineers worldwide. We also participate in various international R&D projects, and we have a frame agreement for metrology development with IMEC, the largest international research center for the development of semiconductor products.

We carry out our work in a responsible way; we provide various benefits to our employees and support important cases such as scientific education.
